The Koppa serving dish is made of brown stoneware. The outside of the dish is naturally rough with no glaze while the inside has a clear glaze.
Perfect table setting for the everyday or a special occasion.
The dish is dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer proof. The leather handle is easy to remove and should be taken off before washing the dish.

The Karhuemo (mother bear) pattern is based on a plant-themed sketch made by Aino-Maija Metsola for the Ruudut (squares) print created in collaboration between four designers for Marimekko’s spring collection for 2021, the year of the company’s 70th anniversary. Among the flowers and leaves in the original sketch, Aino-Maija added a bear with its cub.

In 1961, Maija Isola spent many evenings and nights working in Marimekko’s print factory – painting in gentle, sweeping brushstrokes to the sway of music. On one of those nights, Joonas (Jonah), a pattern inspired by the sun dancing on the waves of the Mediterranean, saw the light of day.
The cover has a concealed zipper on one side.Marimekko cushion covers are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique. This fabric was printed with a colour mixed from dyes left over from Marimekko's printing production - this means there is some variation in the colours of each pillow.
