Munich-born artist Sepp Werkmeister is renowned as one of the leading figures of jazz photography in the 1960s and '70s. A fixture of the New York City jazz scene, he photographed heavyweights such as Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.
The first publication devoted to Werkmeister's lesser known photographs of bustling streetscapes, New York 60s encapsulates the highs and lows of the city that never sleeps.
