Aage Pedersen Model GE88 for Getama Easy Chair

Traditional Danish easy chair in solid teak and with original sprung cushions and and wool upholstery. 

Aage Pedersen, a former director of Getama and the grandson of the founder, was also a casual furniture designer at the company. The keen observer will notice some cross-over between Aage Pedersen and Hans J Wegner's work, however most of the similarities in this chair are the use of identical springs, lining, cushion structure and fabric, all used by Getama at the time.
