Original Circa 1958 Artichoke Pendant.

A pendant light that needs no introduction; arguably one of the most recognised designs from the 20th Dentury.

The Artichoke lamp, known in Danish as “Koglen” (the pinecone), was created in 1958 for the Langelinie Pavilion restaurant in Copenhagen.

This piece is one of the early originals, utilising the oversized E40 Goliath bulb as opposed to the later conversion to the E27.

Also includes the original conical ceiling hide.

Dimensions: Ø600 x H600mm

Condition: In very good vintage condition, some tarnishing on the copper leaves as expected for its true age. Structurally sound. Works as it should, ready for your electrician to wire.
