Wonderful vintage filing unit in a "smoked" European oak.
This piece has a wonderful "jalousilåge" or tambour door which opens by key and drops to reveal six removable tray drawers.
”Smoked”’oak refers to a traditional European method of deeply altering the colour of the wood to a deep, rich brown colour by exposing it to vapours in a sealed environment.
