Incredibly rare showstopper pendant by iconic Danish designer Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Morup.

Designed in 1972, Hammerborg was influenced by the space race and wanted to re-create the effect of a rocket stack blasting into space.  In order to achieve this, Hammerborg banded together 16 steel tubes with one larger outer tube and suspended the light source in the centre. The design has the downward light bursting through the the lower tubes and a softer light peaking through the top of the upper tubes. Ambient light also peaks through the side of the structure for a warm, soft glow effect.

A pendant with presence and a clear design brief, this larger fitting will definitely be a talking piece in your home.
