Superbly designed and constructed, the table top consists of solid Brazilian rosewood planks with edge joining, reinforced with contrasting biscuit joints.

The table top rests with a floating appearance on tapered wedge legs also in Brazilian rosewood and with contrasting tenons to conceal the interior joinery.

It’s a sleek, wonderfully designed piece from a master cabinet maker. We obtained this piece in Copenhagen last decade.

NB. The market value alone for solid Brazilian rosewood of this quality (Dalbergia nigra) is approx. 3k.

In 20 years of importing Danish mid-century, we’ve never seen anything comparable; and likely won’t see one again.
