Striking eight drawer desk in rosewood and with a rear bookshelf arrangement.
Of note are the elegant brass handles. The freestanding design makes it suitable for placement in the middle of the room, as the back is just as complete and beautiful as the front.
Jacob Kjær was a prominent Danish furniture designer influential during the early days of Danish modern design. He was most known for the FN chair which was designed for use in the United Nations building in NYC.
