Long Italian Sideboard in Teak & with Laminate Detail
Substantial low-profile sideboard on a sculpted base and in warm teak with complementing laminate detail on the drawers and the upper surface.
A stand-out piece. This sideboard has a left-hand bank of drawers with a black/white zig/zag pattern and two sliding doors in teak revealing ample storage and a single shelf running the length of the internal space. The upper black laminate surface will reduce the need to worry about future restoration and repair.
The sideboard looks to have been modified at some stage and has some minor signs of repair which do not detract from its overall presentation.
While we're unable to specify the designer of this piece with any certainty, it shares similarities with the work of Piero Ranzani for Elan.
Manufacturer: Likely Elan, Italy 1960s
Dimensions: 2400 x 550 x H620 mm
Condition: In excellent vintage order with only minor signs of repair visible. Some small surface marks and scuffs remain.
